I am hoping someone can give me some suggestions. I joined a gym 6 months ago, and go on a regular basis, about 3 or 4 days a week. I do cardio and weights. Before I joined a gym, I used to jog, but not as regularly. I usually go after work, and then on Saturday mornings. After coming home on weeknights, though, I feel exhausted, like I have the flu. I keep hearing that exercise is supposed to give you more energy, but for me, it is making me exhausted. I drink at least 32 oz. of water while I am exercizing over the course of an hour. I am 25, and get regular amounts of sleep. Any thoughts?

I don't skip lunch, but I exercize hours later -- before dinner. A few weeks ago I counted calories for a few days and found that I eat about 1400 to 1600 a day.

Oh, I'm sorry, I must have read that wrong about lunch.

Sounds like you're getting enough calories too! Wow, out of ideas here.

Perhaps you did find the answer .. Just take it easy when you can though.
