~Monday's Dinner~

Oh those Mondays! Sometimes hard to get back into the work routine. So do you have your Monday dinner all planned out or what are you thinking about having? I don't know about you all but really, I do get a sense of relief coming here and seeing something I'd not thought of that sounds so good, I've just got to have it.

It really helps!

>>I don't like to place the emphasis on the evening meal so much.

I expect him to have a good substantial lunch, and then dinner be light.

**Which is really the right thing to do Stel ..

So you do what you need to do for you guys ..

I so agree on having to mess with the cooking, cleaning up .. yuck!

**Which is supposed to be the better way! I'd do that if I could get away with it! :)

Sure hear you on the clean up.

Nope been up since 4 this morning. I always wake up this early and love it! especially now I have somewhere to visit! Two loads of washing already done. Am not going to miss those football clothes. I put mud all over the laundry floor - knew I should have done that Sunday phew! and the smell!! Well!! What can I say!!! lol!!!

Stel, most people know that it is good to have your heavy meal in the middle of the day so lucky you feel the way you do. Me, well, the microwave will be used full time for the next few weeks!! Everything just goes straight in the dishwasher afterwards. Love it!Hilary

DH & I played hookie from work to spend some QT together!

We had Hungry Man TV dinners for dinner! They are SO FUN to have sometimes. I had the boneless pork rib with corn & mashed taters.

He had the fried chicken with corn & mashed taters.

Every now & then, we like to get TV dinners! They bring us back to that child hood excitement! I used to *love* when my mom made them! :o)

Much love ladies,

DJ - - you are probably not Old enough to remember, but when WE did TV dinners when we were young, it was for 35 minutes in the OVEN - - not 5 in the micro-wave!(LOL)

I too love those "old-fashioned" ones once in a while.....have to do Them on TV trays in front of the TV watching the TVLAND channel with re-runs of Leave it to Beaver and GOmer Pyle!! :o)
