I am going to the gym to workout today. I just joined yesterday. I need a workout routine for weightlosss. I have a apt with a trainer on Monday but would like some tips before then on what a good work out would be.

**Good for you on joining the gym .. a first step .. Your trainer will be a good judge on what kind of workout is best for you .. It depends on how much you want to lose .. what they have to offer there and how often you go ..
Along with all this of course goes the healthy eating ..
I am sure others will have some tips as well for you so check back soon ..

Welcome to the board. :) Yay, good for you for starting an exercise program! :)
Your trainer will probably be the one to help you the most on what will be a good workout for you-depending on what you want (how much weight, toning, Drs. orders etc.). But we're here for you to help support you on your way to getting it and we all can share our experiences with some things you'll go through as you share with us. :)

This board is awesome. It is the best *free* support you can get! LOL! ;o)
Depending on your goals, the trainer will definitely be able to assess what's best for YOU. In general, working out at least 3-4 days per week with 2 of those days being cardio days for 45 minutes or more can be very helpful towards weight loss. Of course you have to throw in some healthy eating & you are on the right track sister!! ;o)
