Funny you mentioned this because my DH is getting on my nerves too! LOL!!

>>so what do you love most about yours??<<

1) Always home when he says he will be.

2) He's a great father to his daughter.

3) He is *NOT* lazy at all. He is always fixing and/or cleaning something around here.

4) He loves his family.

5) He's simple; he doesn't need to go out to have a good time. He prefers to stay home.

6) He's *super sexy* !!! ;o)

Much love,

~DJ~

My DH has been home recuperating from surgery since last December 13th and will not be returning to work until the beginning of September. Can you say "Divorce Court"? I am ready to kill one of us but after seeing this post I have been thinking about all the great things about him, so here goes:

1. He puts up with me.

2. He is a great provider for his family.

3. He loves his kids and shows it.

4. He laughs at my dumb jokes.

5. He tells even dumber jokes.

6. He supports me no matter what I do.

7. Gives great massages.

8. Loves his Mom.

Pretty great huh?!

I am not going to make a list here but am going to say that this is an excellent post in as much as it makes us all think of all the positives in our relationships. Sometimes "life" gets in the way and it is good to actually sit down and think just how wonderful our significant others are and to take a look at life from their point of view as well. That and a good long walk outside! and Barb I think dh being our "Best Friend" is just about the most important of all! Hilary

We aren't married, but I believe he's "the one" so I guess that's good enough...

1. Whenever we're in the same room or in the car together and just sitting quietly he'll break the silence by telling me he loves me.

2. I can't remember the last time I woke up and he wasn't cuddled up to me.

3. He has the best smile.

4. He makes me laugh harder than anyone ever has...on a regular basis.

5. When we go out to dinner he stares at me and tells me I'm pretty. For some reason, that's more of a panty drencher for me than telling me I'm beautiful :I. I'm weird...

6. He kisses me on the cheek in front of his parents.

7. He brings out the best in me.

What a great idea Mary! I'm so glad you did this. :) Ahh so many nice things about my dh of many decades lol. Suffice it to say he may drive me nuts at times but he's the best thing that ever happened to me!

I didn't want to post this with my list, but this was a gift I gave him that he loved.

I loved Joe from the second I first touched his hand. I guess it was that corny "Sleepless in Seattle" 'magic' Meg Ryan was dying for. I wanted to do something special for him for our first Valentine's Day. A few weeks before I started compiling a list of all the little things I remembered, think about regarding him, etc. in the first few months we had been together. I then copied it onto some nice stationery (nothing girly) - it ended up being 10 pages long. The first page started with "When I think of you I think about..." and just went right into a numbered list.

I put it in an envelope and left it on the bathroom sink when he was in the shower. I slipped off to work. My cell phone rang about 30 minutes later after he had read it. He now keeps it in his sock drawer, but he doesn't know I know it's there. I wasn't snooping, I swear! We take turns doing and folding the laundry. That includes putting it away.
