Allllllllllright! Sliver, you are now OFFICIALLY a member of the best ivillage board there is:) Ya know, I had mentioned that I didn't know your age, but I do I was just looking at my 'board notes'(don't laugh!), and I had written it down. Ha!

You're quitting smoking at JUST the right age!

Two quick *mentions* on your profile:

1. You & DJ have alot in common - I *think* ya'll are the same age, and also, I *think* she lives around Philly, as does Barb. Cool, huh? If I EVER make it up to Doylestown, where my sis lives, which MIGHT be next May, maybe we can all hook up!

2. Stella In Heaven.....what, there's a book with my name in the title that I have never heard of???? Who's the author, and what's it about?

I'll be *out of pocket* after tonight until Monday (lake), but I wish you the very best after 7:00 tomorrow night. Kayaking sounds like a wonderful way to help you get started:)

Peace, Stel

"Stella in Heaven" is a book by Art Buchwald and has the most amazing, humorous story. Stella died of lung cancer and when she gets to heaven, which is managed by saint Peter, she finds it is set up like a huge resort - golf when you want(with no bad shots), all the food you can eat(with no weight gain), spa treatments anytime and concerts by Mozart conducted by Leonard Bernstein. Her suite is like the Ritz Carlton and you can have it decorated to your taste! She is allowed three wishes when she gets there, but only asks to speak to her husband whenever she wants. She talks to him every day and is convinced that he will not survive without her, so she is determined to find him a new wife. The story is told from both of their perspectives and is very touching and funny throughout.

I loved this book. Anyone with a significant other will look at their relationship in a whole new way when they're done reading it.
