~Sunday Dinner~

Ahh this used to be our *big* special Sunday dinner day. We'd eat about 2-4 in the afternoon and then just snack later.

When you were small, did you have a special Sat. night or Sunday dinner?

Today, what will you have?

We're having baked chicken tenders, green beans, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce. :)

>>We had BBQ'd sausages, steamed potatoes, and diced avocados with balsamic dressing - not very exciting! Every fortnight we would have family Sunday lunches with all the grandparents. There would always be an "I like Aeroplane Jelly Ad" on the radio about 1 p.m. and you knew that that baked dinner was just around the corner!

**Hey Hil ..

Kind of nice to look back on those memories isn't it

Dinner may not have been exciting .. but hope it was tasty

>>Christmas dinner is always turkey and cranberry sauce or jelly. We do not eat it any other day of the year!! Some cafes now do a sandwich with turkey and cranberry jelly but other than that you don't see it

**Wow kind of interesting Hilary ..

Now what about on Thanksgiving .. what do you have then ..

As always *inquiring minds* want to know

Well, I don't think we are going to have a "dinner" today....we are knee deep in wall-paper and I know I'M NOT stopping to fix anything.

I think it will just be a sandwich and maybe some of my Quakes and an apple.

Back to work....

I don't know! I thought I was supposed to be cooking a nice romantic dinner for DH, but his daughter is here & we can't get *romantic* with her here! LOL! ;o)

I still need to go to the grocery store. I just got out of the shower & I am feeling so relaxed right now! I don't want to move from this spot.

Maybe we can have a late dinner.

**Edited because I didn't answer the question! LOL!

I don't remember us having big dinners. I remember when my mom would have a little extra money left over, she would buy us a huge pizza, chicken wings & sodas! It was the best thing in the world.

Much love ladies,

~dj~
