Okay, this has nothing to do with fitness, but it Could fall under the Health category if we are including Mental Health!!
Geeeeeze Louize..........why must everything be so difficult?
All I wanted to do was get rid of that stupid wall paper in the dining room - - it had little pink roses on a frosty pink background - - THis is NOT ME!!!. I've lived with it for 5 years now and that is enough.....WELL,, when they put it up,, they applied it Directly to the wall board without priming or anything....NOW, , I've got half the wall-board peeling off with the paper. Grrrrrrr. THEN, I "Thought" that the color I have in the kitchen . . which is quite Bold. . . would look good in the dining room. WRONG!! After scraping and priming the bottom part of the room I did a coat of the kitchen paint and YUCK YUCK.....BUT, , I would not admit that "I" could "DO" yuck so did a Second Coat (lolol) just to make SURE that I really didn't like it! NOw, I've got what in the dining room looks like "FLaming ORANGE" - - -it does, it looks like Burger King!(LOL) And because the wall is so shabby now from the paper removal, it looks like those flames are coming at ya!! It's a flaming Mess is what it is!! Grrrrr.
And the hub is NO HELP!! He's like - - do YOU like it?? WHatever YOU say!(lol) Come on - be real!! He just doesn't want to have to paint anymore.
So, now I just don't know what to do........I've primed OVER the Orange Flames and am kind of just waiting for the spirit to move me and select ANOTHER color. I DID paint the top part (Above what used to be the chair rail) a soft green but I wanted something BOLD so I'm not happy with that Either.
MESSAGE TO KIM: THINK TWICE ABOUT REMOVING WALLPAPER!(lol)
I have to wait now for the primer to dry AGAIN....so perhaps I'll come up with a better color scheme. . . . .
I think I'll just start looking for another house...this is too much trouble!(lol)
~~Have a wonderful paint-free day!(vbg)

Okay - - your bathroom was easy - - - I'm going to be positive and believe mine will be too - - it's the last room I've got to tackle wall-paper removal on. BUT, I'm going to take a break from this kind of stuff after the dining room gets done.
Oh, one question: are you priming your walls after you take all that paper off? Reason, I'd try to find "Bullseye 1-2-3 by Zinnzer - - it's really good and doesn't smell nearly as much as the Kilz brand does. That's my 2cents!(vbg)
Again, thanks for the kind words - - and You have a great time with that house!! Keep us posted on your progress.
~~your fellow demolition and removal buddy,
