Question for anyone with children

Starting a family isn't too far off in the distance for me right now. I turned 29 in May and am definitely feeling the itch lately. The BF and I have talked about it and I can see it won't be too long. Obviously our immediate focus is just getting settled somewhere. I just have some questions for everyone here that has children.

1. Were your children planned or surprises?

2. Were you married when you first discovered you were pregnant?

3. At what age did you have your first child? Your last?

4. How many do you have?

5. Looking back, do you wish you waited until you were older or wish you had them younger?

I wanted one more baby but that wasn't to be. Now I'm almost wishing I'd been younger when I had the kids cause they're waiting till they're older than I was. Sheesh, I'm gonna be too old to chase any hoped for grandbabies soon lol.

The BF is three years younger than me, so I am watching him enjoy and live out the last half of his twenties. I would never want to pressure him into being a daddy before he's ready and besides, you really discover who you are becoming as a human being the last half of your twenties. I'm a WAY different person than I was just five years ago. A BIG, HUGE, MASSIVE mistake I see a lot of women make is pressuring a mature, goal oriented, and solid twentysomething guy into becoming a husband and father. That's the best way to drive him away for good! Men are simple creatures. They'll WANT to stick around if you just leave them alone :)!

You are one smart cookie!

For what it is worth I am three years older than my DH ..

We'll be celebrating twenty fours years this month :)

We joke about the three years all the time! When people ask how old he is I say, "He's from the Post-Star Wars/Pre-Yoda generation." - Born March of 1977 :). It's a funny little difference there. I saw Star Wars in the movie theater at the age of 2 and have actual visual memories of my parents decked out in Saturday Night Disco garb. No child should ever be subjected to visions of their father in a powder blue leisure suit...

**Not much of a difference at all, you're right ..

The only time we notice it is when I hit those bdays that have an *0* in them before him

Everytime I break his chops about something, his response is always, "So? You'll be 30 before me." :)
