Question for anyone with children

Starting a family isn't too far off in the distance for me right now. I turned 29 in May and am definitely feeling the itch lately. The BF and I have talked about it and I can see it won't be too long. Obviously our immediate focus is just getting settled somewhere. I just have some questions for everyone here that has children.

1. Were your children planned or surprises?

2. Were you married when you first discovered you were pregnant?

3. At what age did you have your first child? Your last?

4. How many do you have?

5. Looking back, do you wish you waited until you were older or wish you had them younger?

I couldn't pass this one up...

1. Were your children planned or surprises? Our first one was planned. She's two. Our second one was a surprise. He's nine months. They are 18 months apart.

2. Were you married when you first discovered you were pregnant? Yes we were married.

3. At what age did you have your first child? Your last? I had my daughter when I was 24. I had my son when I was 25. (I'm 26)

4. How many do you have? Two, for now. We may have one more. I have twin stepkids so it's a full house when we have all four kids.

5. Looking back, do you wish you waited until you were older or wish you had them younger? I had mine at the perfect age for me. *smile*

1. Were your children planned or surprises? Well, my first child was sort of planned and sort of a surprise. We were trying and then we decided to stop and wait a year or more so we could have our wedding before we had our first child. I had to wait for one regular period to start back on the pill and well that first regular period never came as I found out I was pregnant.

2. Were you married when you first discovered you were pregnant? No, we moved our wedding day up from September to May.

3. At what age did you have your first child? 22 years old Your last? 24 years old

4. How many do you have? 2

5. Looking back, do you wish you waited until you were older or wish you had them younger? I had them at the right time for me. It worked out perfectly. I plan to return to college this year, the kids are 11 and 13 and Im 36 so it works out well. When they're full grown I'll still have a lot of good years a head of me and when I become a grandparent I'll be young enough to enjoy it.

Makes sense you would stop and then be pregnant

1. Were your children planned or surprises? Our first daughter was VERY planned. We used Clomid a fertility med to get pregnant with her. Our second daughter was a shocker because we just assumed we would need more meds to get pregnant again. Which is why they are only 16months apart LOL.

2. Were you married when you first discovered you were pregnant? Yes, My DH and I had been married for 4 years before we started TTC.

3. At what age did you have your first child? Your last? I had my first child when I was 27, my second child at 28, and this last baby I will be 30.

4. How many do you have? Right now I am on my 4th pregnancey..We have two little girls right now and we lost our son last year. Not sure what this baby is yet.

5. Looking back, do you wish you waited until you were older or wish you had them younger? Actually since I found out at age 25 that I had PCOS and infertility issues I am VERY happy that we started when we did. I would not change anything. My only issue was I wanted my last baby by the time I was at least 32. I did not want to be older then that. Yet that is just me.

Hope this helps in you
