Hello I am a 22yr old female from Ohio. I have a few questions. Because I am new I appologise in advance if this is the wrong place for questions like this and please let me know where I can find a more appropriate place to post this.

I am 140lbs, 5'6. My goal(s) are:

a.) Weigh 125lbs.

b.) Have a flat tummy.

c.) Learn to eat healthier.

d.) Figure out what kind of exercises/routine(s) would work best for me.

e.) Try hard to stick with it and not slack off.

I do not consider myself fat or obease by any means but I do have a tummy that I feel a little uncomfortable with and would like to fix it to my ideal look/weight. As you can imagine with my last goal, I have a hard time sticking with it. *shrug* If there is any advice, sites, info., anything that would help me with my gaols and hopes, it would be much appreciated.

Again, thank you in advance. :)

*hugs*

Welcome Erica~~

You've come to the right place!!

Let's see what we've got here.....

a.) Weigh 125lbs.

**We can help you reach that goal with our daily support & our weekly weigh-in!! ;o)

b.) Have a flat tummy.

**Best way to get that flat tummy is cardio, cardio & MORE cardio. Add in some crunches & you're good to go. The common myth is that crunches alone will get you rock-hard abs, but that's not the case. You have to burn the fat on the outside first! ;o)

c.) Learn to eat healthier.

**Come here daily & we'll get you going! ;o)

d.) Figure out what kind of exercises/routine(s) would work best for me.

**We can help you through that to with useful links & ideas from each other!

e.) Try hard to stick with it and not slack off.

**No problem!! Coming here everyday will help you to do that! ;o)

Much love,

~dj~

Oh, by the way; I live in PA near Philadelphia.... I'm 29, 5'5" & about 125lbs.

Last year, I was about 135lbs & those 10 extra pounds seemed to be all in my belly. So I ran & ran & ran & it helped shed them....

Welcome again....

How very INSPIRATIONAL, DJ.....think walk & walk & walk would help shed extra

pounds for me...'specially in my belly....considering I got more to lose than 10 lbs?

Whew, glad to see you got power there...was wondering about my sis up there

in Doylestown.

Thats what people tell all the time, for as long as I can remember. (being very mature at a young age.) :) What I ment by that is, The only boards that I could ever find would be for teens and things of that nature where it would all be a bunch of bull. *shrug* Glad I found this place. :)

If you are trying tosay that 45 yrs old is old you are sadly mistaken. :) *hugs* You are only as old as you feel. (I know people say that alot but I fully agree with it.) So I would consider myself to be 16 (I'm 22) hehe I'm still a little kid at heart. I have noticed that this is a great site and borad to get the answers for anything /everything I need and I really appreciate that. :)
