What will you be eating today? Do you plan to cook... order in... enjoy leftovers... eat out?

It doesn't have to be fancy or homemade; Please share what you plan to serve for dinner tonight. Our sharing provides ideas for all, and helps us to get to know you (and your eating preferences) a little better.

Enjoy :)

Okay - - then sultanas are something like "Raisins"?

Hilary, I just can't get over bananas cooked in with sausage and onions....it is a very interesting concept to me - - - I'm thinking I just might try this sometime. WOuld regular chicken stock (liquid) work or those cubes of chicken bouilion?

Then do you serve it on Top of the rice?

What a different dish. Is this dish sweet?

Just out of curiosity I looked up sultana and raisin in the dictionary and they have the same definition but in Australia a sultana is dried but a little plump and a raisin is very dry and flat! Interesting.

Is there a name for this?

Yep, "Dad's Sausage Curry!" lol. You obviously know "how to cook" Tracy so you can vary the recipe to suit. You can use chicken stock of any kind. It is just for a little saltiness. Also I use curry powder but you can use curry paste if you like. By the end of cooking you can't see the bananas and the amount of flour you use is to thicken it to the consistency you like. Yes over rice, and the next day on toast!! Hilary

Hilary, luv, one more thing!(lol)

HOw much sausage do you use (a pound or what)- - and is it ground sausage or like links? Or is it like those smoked sausage tube-y things) Do you leave the sausage whole or chop it up with the fruit? Sorry for all the ?s. . . . but I am fascinated and really want to try this.

I'm doing a "new" recipe challenge on another board and this would be TOO COOL!!

Thanks sweetie,

tracy

I think tacos make a super summer meal Hill. :) Especially if you add a slice or two of avacado and some sliced tomatoes as a side. ;) Yumm.
