Hec, Barb, have a blast, you deserve it, you're worth it and you've earned it! IMHO, half your luck! :-) Hilary

**I know how true that is Hilary,

So when we can if we get, have lemons ..

We need to try our best to make lemonade with what we are given

**Oh yes do, Barb! It's such a glorious city. :) Buy yourself some flowers at a stand, check out some of the free on-the-street concerts. If ever there was a city to savor, I think it's SF. It's such a great walking city too I think.

** I think it called that *face the struggle* or *experience the sorrow*? Sure can be hard. Guess that's when I try to reach for friends, family, and my faith to try to make it a little easier.

Ya know Hilary that is when u stare life in the face and stick out your tounge--show it the 1 finger--put your thumbs in your ears and wiggle your hands----and tell it you are not going to let that s*** get to ya!!!!!!

Back in 1972 I had to quit my job in June for medical reasons (I was a 5 child single parent at the time)--on Labor day weekend a friend was driving my car in a storm and lost control--I went through the windshield and the car was totaled (he went out the door)--and November 2nd my house burned to the ground--and what do you tell your kids when they find out they have lost everything they loved (they were in school at the time)--well I just gathered them to me and said we have nowhere to go but UP now and I will make sure we get there and we all got busy putting life back together the way we wanted it--maybe it was because I was a little tipsy when I told them my plans to kick a** or maybe it was because the kids were who they were but we did it--and the rest is history. However I must say that whenever life dumped on us later we got through it because the family has always gathered around especially since my SO joined us in '73--as a family we make golden statues out of Pennsylvania clay just because we tell ourselves we can do it.Sometimes we have to work real hard at it but we always tell ourselves we have gotten thru worse so we'll do it again--we stick out our tounges and wiggle our fingers and get to work making *another statue*.

Nuf said!!!!!
