I know that house-hold chores DO burn calories..but if there were ONE chore that you would NEVER do again--What would it be???

Ya know, as difficult as it may seem to have to deal w/all Jimmy's health issues.....MOST of the time he is a VERY GOOD Mr. Mom!! When he's not hurting too bad, he'll do the bathrooms, dust, mop, and vacuum. AND...no matter what, he does the sheets, towels, AND his clothes!!!! Amd he keeps our shower de-mildewed ALL the time. I NEVER do that! So, guess I'm pretty lucky, huh?

And Mel, on that ironing...I do the same (AND have taught Jimmy) to hang up right out of the dryer. Its those dang linen summer things that ya just gotta do. Although, our dress code at work has gotten so 'lax', I sometimes go with something that SHOULD have been ironed. But, heck, I figure, after the seat belt has been on it, it looks like you haven't ironed it half the time anyway. But there are 2 outfits hanging up as I type, to be ironed, that have been hanging there for 2 weeks!!! LOLOL

Have a good one:)

Well after reading everyones answer--I guess I would say that I hate cleaning the bathroom -- so many things in such a small space--even the floor has to be done on hands and knees--and with all the minerals in our well water the toilet and bathtub/shower can be a pain. Dusting would be my second choice--I rarely iron--just press off when needed--most of my stuff comes out of the dryer fairly wrinkle free--but all of it was bought with travel in mind--so little ever has to be ironed for either of us!!!My sister used to iron sheets--but once she had the 3 kids it finally dawned on her WHAT FOR!!!!!I just let the washer/dryer/dishwasher do the jobs that used to be a pain!!

I hate even loading the @#$%ing thing! It totally comes from my mother. She was an OCD cleaner and my job was dishes. If I was home after school I had to do any dishes that were in the sink before dinner. So I would do the breakfast dishes, but if I was thirsty, drank something and put the glass in the sink and she saw it she would flip out screaming at me because I hadn't done the dishes. Even if it was obvious I had done a sink full of them. She was weird. You couldn't touch the walls unless you had just washed your hands.

UGH!!! I would eliminate the DISHES!!!! I hate dishes. When I was a kid, my punishment would be to do the dishes. My mom already knew I didn't like doing them. Example: I once got a C on my report card and I had to do the dishes every day for 6 weeks for a family of 5. I still hate dishes. I don't have a dishwasher :( I tried to make a deal with DH that I would clean the entire rest of the house all the time if he did the dishes...no deal. He hates dishes just as much as I do!! They do get done though, with a grimmace all the while.
