Scale or Tape Measure???

Hi all! I always remembered hearing that you shouldn't judge by the scale, but by the tape measure. Anybody here able to prove or disprove that theory?

I can just share for me Ri. The first couple of months I walked a mile daily, I didn't notice the scale budging that much. What I did notice was that my waist became smaller, leaving room for my fingers and hand to slip in comfortably. :) I guess maybe because muscle weighs more than fat, the benefits of exercise, water and eating healthier often show up in the shape of our body? jmho

Yeah, I was always a firm believer in that it's how you look, not how much weight you've lost. If you're looking thinner and losing inches, that means you're looking good, and that's good in itself! :) I like thinking I'm looking better...I can't wait to start feeling like I'm looking even MORE better...lmaooooo :)

Hahaha!! I have clothes like that---I usually have to break them out when I have my "monthly evil friend" :-) LOL Now I'm waiting for the day my "skinny day" clothes become my "fat day" clothes. LOL ;)

**Great question Ri ..
I have to say for me I go by how my clothes fit ..
As opposed to both the scale and tape measure ..
Guess I'm not much help
