Leaving for Las Vegas on Thurs...help!

Hi!

Over the labor day weekend, I majorly slacked on diet and exercise and gained a few lbs, not to mention I am seriously craving salt due to PMS. I am trying to lose 5-7 lbs. by Thurs. (mostly H20) so that my clothes will fit a little bit better...how should I approach it? I am doing Atkins today and tomorrow and I plan to do Curves tonight, tomorrow and Thursday morning as well as Winsor Pilates. Any other suggestions? I know it's not necessarily healthy to lose weight this quickly, but you guys know how it is when you have a big event planned and you want to look your best!

This diet will blow you mind with how fast it works. (Personal experience ::blush::) Many doctors actually recommend it and the results have been startling. Don't tell Hugs and Golly I put this up on their health and fitness site ;)

Hi newlymarried,

Sorry to hear about your weight gain but sometimes on holidays we just have to enjoy the whole package and that usually includes friends, family and food. :)

**Oh gosh hon. I think leaving the salt alone, drinking lots of water might help, especially with any water weight gain. As to other suggestions, that old principle of burning more calories than you take in. Perhaps others will have suggestions. Just make sure you are getting adequate nourishment, vitamins and water, k? And you don't want to make yourself so sore you can't enjoy the weekend. :)

Good Grief! are you still here! A capsicum is a green pepper and a kilo is 2.2 pounds! I know there are a lot of diets around like this but this particular one they featured on a nightly current affairs programme. You should have seen the results. I tried it just for the hec and the results are remarkable. (Only lasted five days though :)) Beats the cabbage soup diet! I almost pureed the soup as well. It's fast, it's quick, and for a kick start not such a bad idea! Hil

I find I like some of the soups from these diets. To me the cabbage soup is a tasty soup to just have sometimes so I may try this one out this winter as part of a meal. :)
