straightened out!

Hi All,

Thank you all for your advice. Feeling better today! I went to the chiro and a disc in my neck did "slip out of place". So he adjusted me a few times and I got to lay on that nice heated massage machine that they have, it was great. I have to go back a few more times, but oh well. He told me to expect to be sore for a while. I'm still shocked I did that just from stretching!

Hugs,

Hillary

Hey, Hillary ~ glad to know the chiropractor was able to help.

Could he just tell on his x-rays that a disc had 'slipped out of place'???

I went to one for the first time a few years ago due to neck problems. Although

it did help a bit, I'm still a little skeptical about the whole thing w/chiropractors.

But I SHOULD go back as my neck problems are recurring more frequently. Think the

prognosis was 'degenerating discs' in my neck.

Anyway, sure glad they could pinpoint your problem and begin therapy. * stel *

**Glad you got it checked out and shared with us Hillary. :) mummmm, doesn't the heat/massage feel great?

>> I'm still shocked I did that just from stretching!

**I know. It's so important to stretch easy and correctly. I did something to my leg last year while stretching before exercising. Now I warm up by an easy walk and then very gentle easy stretches.

Check out some videos that show you easy stretching. Feel better and thanks for checking in. :)

I'm so glad that you were able to get it corrected. I can't believe it happened from a stretch either.

I hope you're back 100% soon! ;o)

Thanks for updating us!

Much love,

They actually don't need to use an x-ray every time to diagnose problems, really they're used mostly for just the first visit and if there's an injury. A chiro can look for a problem by checking the alignment of your ears, shoulders, and pelvis, the length of your legs with respect to each other, if you have limited strength in certain muscles or limited range of motion, the body gives all kinds of clues when it's not working properly! Sometimes you can look at someone's spine and see with your eyes or feel with your fingers that something isn't in the right place.

The best thing you can do for your back is get regular exercise. The second best is to get it help when it hurts.

I'm glad you're feeling better Hillary!

>>I think it really is a help to keep those muscles that support the back, strong.
