Chicken Cacciatore tonight. I will modify it by removing the skin from the chicken but apart from that not much needs to be done to the recipe to make it "healthy", microwaved potatoes with plenty of parsley (and butter for the fellas, not a lot but in many ways I think that is healthier than "man made" margarine!) peas and beans. It's a meat thang!

I don't know what tho - - I threw a hunk of some kind of fat red meat into my new crock pot with some onion and garlic. I will decide what it IS in 9 hours!(lol)

Yum, that sounds good Hil! I do like the real thing when it comes to butter so now I have it about 1/10 as much as I used to. Those potatoes sound sooo good. ;D

The plumbermen are gone and I have a sink and dishwasher again!! Life is good!

Right here it's still a mess with the hole in the floor and wall but they suggested we let it vent for awhile. I'm hoping we can use double faced tape to get the carpet back without it showing the cuts. And I'll think about the basement another day. ;D

Ok dinner...I don't know about the meat but I'm going to dirty some pans with mac and cheese and maybe some fried zucchini. Maybe I'll even make hamburgers with some of the low fat ground beef I have. :D

Yay Golly!!

SOooooooooo glad you've got your sink and dishwasher back!

How big is the hole in the floor? Not big enough to fall thru I hope!

That mac & cheese sounds so good... - now- ....you dirty up LOTS of pans now to make all this plumbing work worth it, hear?!(lol)

Hey, my Hunk-o-meat is DONE!! Good thing I checked as it said 8-10 hours....turns out 4 hours and it is falling apart...sooooo yummy and I don't even Like Red meat! Will have to make some tators and a couple veggies to go with it. It smells like a MOM's house in here!(lol)
