>>do you remember a cook from down your way by the name of Gordon Elliot? He had a Great food show

**I remember him a long time ago. Dh used to run into him at the Pub!! I only knew him as a radio announcer not a chef. A really big guy. I haven't heard of or about him for years and years.

I really think I will try that pie of yours. Your dinner sounds good to me, just asked dh what steak you are talking about :) Hilary

Yeah Tracy, I make ours. Didn't know you could get it out of a box. I use rings and crushed pinapple on the cake. Think it's prettier and yet still has pinapple everywhere, lol.

As to hungry now , I'll have my cup of hot chocolate soon!

Got sidetracked with Simon and Garfunkel ;)

Hillary - Salisbury Steak is made with what we call cube steaks - - it's round steak that has been pounded to tenderize it. The steaks are dredged in flour and browned, then baked slow with onions, worcestershire sauce, beef stock, and some folks add tomatoes. It's wonderful.

Spinach souffle (made with half real eggs and half egg substitute) and homemade fat-free peach ice cream. Take-out is Friday nite for us.
