Dinner/lunch today turned out GREAT!! BBQ pork chops and sausages with apple sauce, marinated (olive oil, crushed black pepper, paprika, sugar and rosemary) onion rings BBQ'd, baked in foil potatoes topped after cooking of course! with extra light sour cream mixed with curry powder, fruit chutney and sprinkled with chopped shallots, sweet corn topped with real butter, parsley, garlic powder and black pepper, wrapped in foil and cooked in the oven as well.

Beforehand I had my favourite horsdoeuvre, smoked oysters, oil rinsed off with lemon juice, on a cracker spread with "light" mayonnaise and finished off with a liberal sprinkling of black pepper. YUM!

No dessert, just coffee and chocolate Tim Tams and crumble bars!! Hilary

**Sounds good Golly. That's a lot of trouble to go to on a Sunday night. It is interesting how much pork we all are eating here. Meat prices in Sydney have gone through the roof but pork chops and chicken are still quite reasonable.

**True on the prices Hilary. I do think now that the pork doesn't seem to have as much fat it it as it used to which is better for us and not frying it helps too. :) I don't fix the wonderful pork roast gravy that my mother did that the whole family could hardly wait for the cooking to be done. And even the hams are much leaner.
