Oh Boy....my husband does Not have a job to go to Monday.
I'm used to him being around a lot, but not COnstantly.
I love him dearly.
He just asked me if I'd pretend to be his secretary.
I told him I'd pretend to be his boss!!
THIS is going to be interesting!!!!!!!!!!(vbeg)

**As someone who has a dh home 24/7 for about the last 700 days
(but who's counting? )
You have my prayers and positive thoughts. ;D
Actually I love it except he can pick the darnedest times to share something with me lol.
Remember Dirty Dancing....."This is MY space and this is yours"...
Good luck and God Bless.

Seriously, bet you two have a ball! :)
**"interesting" probably doesn't quite cover it Tracy. Is this long term? My dh has been retired for nearly five years and I can tell you it took quite a while for him and me to get "used" to it. OK now of course, just a matter of keeping your own "space". Hil

**Oh boy sounds like fun Tracy
As long as he knows you're the boss .. things should be fine
Have fun, let us know and enjoy :)

Now's the time, kiddo:) You can even head our way & stay a nite or two, then
head to the gulf. There ARE places that allow you to have dogs...we took Bo,
our first dog, one time...actually twice. He LOVED chasing those seagulls on the
beach
Go now....while the gettin's good! Life's too short:)

Our Rebel is not as good a traveler as your babe tho - - he's fine for about 2 hours Max. THen after that amount of time he starts acting panick-y... . .
BUT, You Never KNOW. . .
Stel - - he's still employed for part time work, but just doesn't go IN to the office anymore - - he is going to do some stuff for them from home. At least for the next month. Then, we don't know what happens. It's going to take some getting used to. But, we have so much fun, and we know when to leave the other person alone, I'm sure we will have a blast....in general (lol)

You are so right about keeping your own space. Mike Actually retired about 3 years ago, but, went to work part time...and it's only recently that he's been working a lot. So, his being home is not That overwhelming, just that Now he won't have a "place" to go - - and I think when That hits him, he's going to be kind of depressed EVen tho he's always said he wanted to be completely retired. I know it took me a long time to feel comfortable at home after I stopped working full time...But, now, I have a routine. I am curious to see what HIS routine will be!(vbg)

** Dh set up his office downstairs. :) We're not talking dark, damp basement but lots of windows, 1/2 bath, patio door. He also added a door to that section and used it for his office till retirement. I knew not to pop in there except for lunch time. The thing is, since he's now pretty much fully retired, he pops upstairs at the most inconvenient times. I've got to have another talk with him I think tho I had a gentle one this last week, lol. Yesterday he interrupted me at the computer and I lost a bunch of stuff.

**Tracy, it took Danny a year to adjust. Working has been such a large part of their lives. Danny was a "business man" and didn't really have any hobbies (except a bad golf game lol!) I agree with Stel, it is a good time to take off. Hey come Downunder. You know "trip of a lifetime!!" Good Luck. We have always been best friends so it wasn't really that tough! Hil
**I know Golly, shouldn't laugh, wasn't funny. We now have daily battles for this computer since I found the Board. Hugs if right, I'm the boss. I just sent him out to get the washing off the line HA! and he is doing it!!!! HA!!! Hil
**Smart man to listen to his boss
