Good day Ladies ..
I would love to hear some great food ideas from anyone and everyone ..
Healthy would be great but yummy is important as well
Please feel free to share what is healthy, good, easy quick dinner ideas ..
Also if we can keep them all in this thread it would make finding them easier for all.
I will go back and c/p the ones we already have in this thread too .. eventually
That way we all know where they will be when we want them
What will be great is we can always find this thread,
Post in it and that will *bump* it back to the top
In time I will be posting them on our website as well.
Have a great day :)

Thanks
the heart healthy salmon recipe
It was good Golly.
This is supposed to be a health & fitness board, but the recipes don't include the necessary info to complete the task!
Hey Kathi, You are right to a certain extent.
SOMETHING QUICK AND EASY THAT WE HAD FOR DINNER LAST NIGHT:
Prep the oven 375 dg
ingredients---elbow macaroni (I used half a box)--can of Italian style stewed tomatoes--can of tomato sauce with garlic--1/2 bag frozen brocoli--low fat (or fat free) grated mozerella cheese (double the tomato ingredients if you use a whole box).
Cook macaroni--in seperate pan heat stewed tomatoes--tomato sauce and broccoli until broccoli is heated thru.
Hi Kathi,
As for the recipes posted with regards to calories, etc ..
Most of us that shared them will not be putting calories,
Hi Kathi....I agree with you about the recipes posted, but, alas, I think when we started this post it was really just a "boy, I tried this and it was great" kind of thing.....Not necessarily a list of healthy, *diet* recipes.
Do you have the breakdown of fats, calories, carbohydrates, etc?
I wish I did, Kathi.

Kara, the quickest easiest way for chicken tenders for me is just to use Shake and Bake on them and follow the directions on the package.
Chicken in Wine
A really nice chicken dinner that takes more time and effort is to brown skinless chicken breasts in some olive oil (I do miss the skin on this one ;)) and add cut carrots, onion 1/4s, peeled potato 1/2s and brown them just a little until veggies are partially cooked. Salt, pepper, paprika to taste and color.
Pour in 1/3 c. white wine if you have it
