Wow, it's HOT. Hard to take such an extreme so early. BBQ chicken breasts and salad tonight. Quite like a new ranch dressing from Kraft with bacon and onion, 0.7g of saturated fat per serve. Not too bad so long as you don't eat it by the cupful HA! Hilary

How do you use Pesto?My husband got a HUGE box of samples from allesi-a gourmet Italian/spanish food distributer.We got Rissoto/rice mixes,balsamic vinergars,olive oils,marinara sauces--just to name a FEW things.But I got a jar of pesto-its very thick inan olive-oilbase.Do you just put it on Pasta? I didnt want to open the jar till I knew what to do w/ it!!Any clue...mel

Grilled and BBQed Pork finger ribs,with fresh asparagus for me-scalloped taters for THE MEN!!And of course a salad..they will do ranch..Ill do o+ v.I am already hugry..wish i could work out..but my back still hurts,xoxo mel

Hi Mel,

I just make mine using fresh basil, olive oil and parmesan cheese (I don't have pine nuts). Then when the ravioli or noodles or whatever are done, I just mix the pesto into it. You don't need a lot (like with a red sauce) so experiment by adding small amounts at a time until you like it. :)
