Just rockmelon and cottage cheese for me Golly. Not a "hungry" day. The fellas can have the leftover salad from last night and BBQ some chicken or something. Good Night Golly ;) Hilary

FrugAl or Fancy? How about none?

Oboy that question, DINNER, but I have two hungry boys ... gotta plan it ... how's about chicken tonight, chickent tonight (did somebody just say that? :::wink:::) (still want that dumplings recipe)

What else to do with chicken legs but bake them ... ho humm ... guess that's frugal

I have a habit of buying potatoes and letting them go bad. I just get the 5# bag now. So will have to be something fried, yuck, one of them doesn't like baked potatoes. Can you cut them up into wedges and bake them in the oven? Just wondering..

Plus mixed veggies .. & how about a fresh tomato for salad?

... where are those pic-a-nic baskets? ... This is totally out of character ...

**Hey Yogi, spray the chicken legs with olive oil and heavily sprinkle them with something like McCormick's Season-All Spicy or something. Tastes great, and you can easily cut the potatoes into wedges spray them with olive oil as well and dry bake them for a really healthy potato dish. They may even take about the same time as the chicken legs to cook! Hilary

Well, tomorrow is a BIG day.Its D's Homecoming game and THEN the party..and it also DH's Birthday. So tonite I am just cooking up some ho-made chili (lo-fat) and gonna have some chili-dogs (I got myself the lo-fat dogs) and I am gonna make brownies and just STAY home.I have to be up at 7 am to be at the field by 8am for pictures..then the game is at 10.At 1/2 time all the players(we are talking 10 year olds) will escort their MOMMYS across the field when their name is called and hand us each a rose. Its so cute!!!After the game is a HUGE party with tons of food and games for the kids.It will be fun--but HOT!!Then I have to figger out WHAT to do for DH's birthday dinner.I think it will be a Japanese Steakhouse---then SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!! xoxomel
