Anybody familiar with Vietnamese food?

I'm just curious, I walk by a Vietnamese restaurant every day on my way to work, and I want to stop in, but I'm a little afraid of new stuff that I can't pronounce or identify.  And I had a bout with some spoiled deli ham yesterday and am not feeling altogether that adventurous yet....

Thanks if anybody has any experience here!

I'm no help Judie but I'm wondering if you could check on it on the web. Perhaps they have a website? I found a Chinese Restaurant here that way and they had the menu, prices, and translations of their special goodies.
Just a though.

Judie - here's a site that lists recipes for 96 dishes - - you can check out the ingredients and that might give you an idea of what to try at the shop...

Try it Judie, I love it. A little different and if you don't give it a go you'll never know. Hilary
