Must have been about 10 of them.
The announcers seemed appalled at what this poor guy must be going through. And of course, the *relentless* media...who I'm sure are the ones who *found* his house.
Just my 2 cents worth, as I'm sure I might feel differently if I were a fan.

Mel, be careful what you wish for....

Despite the wrath my good buddy Mel may bestow upon me, I liked your post, Judie...and I have to agree with you.
I TRULY feel sorry for this guy, and hope everyone will calm down & cease the threats.
I had not even thought about the fact that it might be so bad that he & family may have to move. Is he married? Kids? Regardless, still awful(:
TY for your input from the viewpoint of a Chicagoan:)

He's 26 and not married, but he has parents and siblings.
**Aww I bet you are Judie and I'm sorry. No joy in Mudville.
I do agree with you on that poor guy. I think his reach for the ball was totally automatic.
I think his life will probably go a different direction now and I hope and pray he and his family are safe.
My anger, more and more so goes to the press that releases and imho feeds this kind of stuff into a fire.
And hey Cub fans, there's next year!
Ok, I'll shut up ;D.
I completely agree with you Judie.........I remember there were quite a few other folks trying to catch the ball too...the Cubs lost the game, Not the fan.
