I can't remember the last time i had a cigarette! I posted a question on August 25th asking if anyone had tried or is trying to use Wellbutrin to quit, because that was the day i started. Well I can honestly say that it totally worked for me. I have very little cravings and it's usually when i have coffee, so now i drink tea. And sometimes if i'm drinking a beer. But i really don't need that much willpower to not smoke. It's great! I feel much better, and I live in Winnipeg Canada, so I'm saving SOOOO much money.(Cigarettes are $10.50 for a pack of 25) Anyhoo, i just wanted to say thanks for all your support and to share my story. You really can quit if you put your mind to it. :)

Congratulations on being smokefree since August 25th! WTG! How exciting that Wellbutrin worked so well with you, that's quite a blessing. :) Your Thanksgiving dinner must have smelled so good, I loved getting my sense of smell back. :) Yikes on cigs there costing $10.50 a pack, now you'll be able to spend that money on you, yayyy lol! :)
We'd love to have you join us on our journey to be fit and healthier if you'd like to. :) We have a lot of fun while we work on eating healthier and exercising.
Thank you Robin for coming by to share your story and show that it CAN be done. :)
Hope we see you again. :)

Thank you all again for your support. I am in fact trying to get back into shape, well to be honest, *in shape*. I've started 'The South Beach Diet'. It was going really well for the first week and then the weekend came. In the first 2 weeks on this diet, you can't have any alcohol. Well i ended up getting loaded on accident. But we all make mistakes right? So I've decided to start all over again. Hopefully this time, I will have enough willpower to stay away from the foods I'm suppose to. Quitting smoking was a lot easier than to not eat bread, potatoes, rice and BEER. Afterall, I am Canadian. Wish me luck :)

**Good Luck Robin. Hey, my son lives in Vancouver. Are you implying that Canadians drink a lot of beer! Hope you guys don't lead him astray He's Australian so :) am just teasing.

You really will feel like a million bucks by Christmas if you have given up smoking and lost a lot of weight. Worth the effort. Oh, OK, already said "Good Luck" :))) Hilary
