Porkchops were delicious, thanks for sharing that recipe. :)
Ahh yes on *quick and easy*.

*Sounds good to me Hil but then I like avocados and ham. :)
Lol on the pumpkins, they are lots of fun to grow Hil + good eating. ;D
Now when you see a big ol' pumpkin patch, then I'll think it's celebrated there. ;)
Just the thought of pumpkins showing up in springtime gives me a giggle.

**I didn't know you could eat those big orange pumpkins. We have all kinds of different pumpkins here and I prefer the "floury" when cooked textured ones, almost like potato when you cook them. I have seen those orange ones growing in fields over there. Good Grief, if I grew one in my backyard I wouldn't have any yard left ;) Dh's Dad used to grow some. Hmm, maybe not so much lawn to mow then, may consider it! Hilary

**Yep, you scoop out everything inside, wash and save the seeds-they make a nice munchie .
Then cut the pumpkin into about 1-2" chunks, and cook until soft. For pumpkin pie, mash and strain it.
