This sounds like more great news for tea drinkers. :) From Reuters:

  • Scientists with the U.S. Department of Agriculture said they found consumers who drank black tea for three weeks experienced a decrease of between 7 percent and 11 percent in their low-density lipoprotein (LDL), or so-called bad cholesterol.

So drink up ladies and enjoy. :) Emoticon

While all this looks great ..
Can I assume that *black tea* is just like Lipton's everyday tea?

**You know, I really had no idea but I did find this in tealand.com:

Black tea "is the most common form of tea worldwide,
prepared from green tea leaves which have been allowed to oxidize
or ferment to form a reddish brew."
