I have been thinking about the food related holidays comming up. Last year I made my first pumpkin pie crust and all!!!:) I was sooo proud as pie crust seem to be hard for me to get right. I was told it was great I do not like pumpkin pie so I did not eat it. I was thinking about what I could try this year. I was thinking homemade stuffing but what a chore. I am the short cut queen when cooking. Stove top is best mix flavors to personalize. Stuff like that. What about you? Do you make everything homemade if so share recipies please? Are you into short cuts if so share please? I am hoping to get alot of ideas in this thread so dont be shy!!! I know Mel (or should I say MOM) has some great ideas. And Tracy cooking away!!!~Mary~

she has now gone to cooking the turkey in the bag thingy, and she says it is soooo much quicker

**Cooking turkeys in oven bags is the only way to go. No mess in your oven, you don't have to baste the turkey and it cooks so much faster. Even better is the fact the turkey does not dry out. I buy them maybe twice a year and always get the ones with a pop up plastic thing that lets you know when they are cooked. Hilary
