Hello! My name is Mary and I am the mom of two boys, 5 and 2. I am also a kindergarten teacher, and just starting to MAKE myself walk on a BORROWED treadmill. Didn't get to walk as much as I would have liked over summer break, so I am going to do this after the kids go to bed.

The treadmill is the Nordic Track EXP 1000, iFit compatible. I borrowed it and do not have access to a manual. I can NOT figure out how to use the incline feature. it hums a second then beeps at me. I also have been using the preset programs, and it indicated a change of incline, but nothing is changing. Any ideas for what I need to do, or does anyone have a manual page you could scan and email me? Thanks so much! bennersmom@charter.net

I was lurking a bit and I am very motivated by all of your dedication! Hope to visit more often. thanks again!

Hi Mary - - something else you might try is go over to a sports shop that sells that kind and ask them to show you how it works....

My treadmill is not your brand, but with my incline, because of bad knees, I tend to leave it at the level setting. If the setting is okay and "stable", do continue using it....still will get health benefits!!

Good to see you come out of "lurkdom"!!

Hi Mary and welcome to the board. :)

A thought I had would be to go to nordic track website and perhaps inquire there.
They might have manuals online. :)
