Our health and the fire storm in Ca

Usually I am not lost for words but to describe what is going on in California is just beyond any words that come to mind while I try to write this. I can not tell you how many times in the past few days that I have logged on to this board and attempted to post an update and could not. My health is bad and there is no let up in this firestorm which is raping my beautiful world. Rape is the only word that even come's close to what this fire storm is doing to my world.

The worst part of this day is that the winds have started up again and now we have just had an earthquack. They say it is an off shore wind which would make you think that the qaulity of air by the beach is heathful again. That is so totally not true! They show people on the news walking along the beach coughing and gaging with masks over their noses. Not only is the smoke and ash affecting our health but it is also effecting the health of my/our fur babies as I watch them sneeze and cough through out the day with their mommy.

We have not been able to locate friends or family members in this fire storm's path. Our water pressure is low and at times our local web server, cell phones, and electricity flickers on and off where I live. On top of all that we are going into a food shortage now because every one is trying to find food at the local stores that are not on strike. Our local pharmacy is overwhelmed and at the hospitals the emergancy rooms are packed with asthmatic patients such as myself who have made several trips to the hospitals this week because of the smoky ashy air.

These fires has made the air we breathe in southern California very unhealthful and deadly to for people like me who have to breathe it. No one is going out side, the streets are empty and my neighborhood looks like a bomb was set off with all the smoke and ash laying over every thing known to mankind out there.

I have never asked for prayers from you girls because as you know in the past I believe they are as useful to me as praying to the statue of liberty for help. But now I have changed my mind. I will take prayers, positive thoughts, good vibes, and lots of angels and any thing else in your personal arsenals that you believe will help us who are trying to live through this fire storm from hell.

We need your help people... please help us to get through this... I beg of you!

Just stop what your doing during each beautiful day your enjoying... and send us all the love in your hearts... Please... I fear your local news is not even telling the rest of the world as to how bad these fires are.... or how it is effecting us here.

For once girls there is no bull in this post... this is reality in it's rawest form. As I said, I am in poor health and very depressed... and we the people of southern California really need food, clothing and any thing else any of you can send our way from your state.... If you are having a beautiful day and life is wonderful right now to you please share with us who are living in hell right now some of your happiness....

It is just unbelievable here!!!...

I am sorry girls I can not write any more because as I write this I am crying hysterically and can not see my computer screen, I am severely depressed and my physical and psychological health is in the toilet.

I know over 200 people read these boards... so people if each one of you out there in the cyber space could just stop for once in your life and respond to let us know you care that would really help us... the power of words are mightyer then these fires...

Aloha,

Lei

Hello {{{Hulagirl}}}
I'm so sorry for all that you all in Southern CA are going through right now.
I've watched FOX and CNN and just prayed for calming of the winds and cooler moist weather.
Please stay safe and

I saw some live tv stuff last night it was sooo scary!!! I wish I could twitch my nose and make it all go away. or produce the largest thunder storm ever seen. I will pray for all of you. I also have asthma and understand not being able to breath. you must feel awful and your poor furbabies. It is truly terrfiying. Please stay safe and strong....

lots of love

I am editing my post due to a conversation I heard at work. I have heard some say it is a "California problem" However I think that Cali is the largest food producing State in the USA. Well it may be "their" problem now but the entire nation will feel the pain and devistation of this horrible act of nature. Eventually thoes saying that will want some fruit or veggies next season. Well the supply will be short and I am certain the price will be high. I am sure there are many other things that will also be affected. Some people can be sooooo mean!!

ps I threw him out after speaking my mind.:P
