Let's talk food...

Let's all try to make good food choices today! If you do choose to eat something that's not so healthy, just try to control your portions. There is NO shame in enjoying one of the world's greatest pleasures (eating!). :P Just be sure to share the details. LOL.

What are you planning for dinner ladies?

THey come in the same tray, that yellow tray with the clear wrapper that says chicken in yellow and orange!...YOu know, , It looks like all the other which is Probably why you never noticed it. . . . it usually has 4 breasts in the pack, or sometimes just 3....but they are good sized.

FYI:

The reason the meat never tastes the same when we marinate at home is at the plant they have a machine called a flavor injector! that is right like a shot from the doc they inject the flavor right into the meat right after kill and cut up. then it is vacume packed in the flavors then put in the "blast area" where the meat is frozen semisolid in seconds. then stored for the truck. So no matter how long you "soak" your meat it will never be the same. ~Mary~

ps: my dh works at Tyson he does maintenance. ~Mary~

These are part of my *emergency* food ideas as even if you forget to defrost, , since each breast is individually packaged, you can put how many packs you need in a bowl of cold water and they will be ready in an hour!!

Tracy cut the Itialian chicken up small and use it in place of hamburger in spaghetti sauce. it is wonderful. I really love the lemon herb chicken. It is hard to find. And I live about 7 miles from the tyson foods chicken plant and my dh works there. It is not sold in the stores around me.
**Sounds like some of the best fresh fruits in CA and FL Mary. Seems they ship them elsewhere.
That's a great idea for spagetti too. Thanks.
Cold here too so I bet you enjoy that chili. :)
