Never too soon to start thinking about this
How big a bird will you buy for how many people?

It's really getting close. 12-14 lbs for 4 people is what we try to do.

We will go somewhere Else to eat....But, I think I will still fix a small bird, or maybe just a turkey breast as dh LOves to have leftover turkey and feels gypped if he can't have some the next day or so. (lol)

But, I WILL be taking that Pumpkin Crunch along whereEVER I go!

(Can you tell I like that stuff?)

Oh Bill,
I'm so glad you get to be with family this year.
I can't imagine having to work on Thanksgiving but I guess lots do and that gives us something else to be thankful for-those who give us a chance to enjoy the day. :)

Ok, so

Oh yes on the leftovers Tracy!!
I've only had one Thanksgiving without leftovers and that was when my wrist was broken.
Youngest son took us out to dinner and boy, I sure missed having those leftovers lol.

But, I WILL be taking that Pumpkin Crunch along whereEVER I go!

Yup, I sure can and boy will it be a hit. :) You might want to take a couple of printouts of the recipe if you want to share cause I bet you get asked. ;)

Well now that I have a stove with oven I will be cooking a 15-20lb bird for the four of us and who ever stopps by. I already set a vacation day the day before so I can get a headstart on the cooking.~Mary~
