Surf's Up!!!!

You all know that I have just come home from "another" stay at the beach even though I only live less than an hour away from the Sydney beaches. Why!! I LOVE IT!! There is nothing more wonderful, to me, than being able to dive into a champagne surf early in the morning, to catch a wave all the way into the shore, to sunbake during a hot day and fall into the water to cool off, and to walk along the sand or sit and watch the sun come up and set over the water so......I was wondering.
Do *you* ever go to the beach? How often? (some people even here haven't seen the sea)
Are there waves at your beach? (I have seen beaches that don't have surf)
Have you ever lived near the beach? Bet you miss it if you have moved away :)
Danny and I are at a time in our lives when you kinda get restless and think about selling the "family home" and moving. A LARGE part of me wants to do what many retirees do and move north to a beach, BUT............ What do you think?

Oh, man......I just lost my post concerning the BEACH
I love the beach too obviously, but just like you get a little nervous in the surf swimming alone 'cause I can't see *anything* without my glasses. Speaking of which, the *small* print you have become so fond of ARGHHHHH!!!!!!
Would be a great day for the beach today. HOT big time. Hil
Sometimes this *package* drives me nuts!
**Yep, fits onto the screen no trouble Stel and I love the size of the no. 4 print. Clever girl! Hilary
Stel,
You and the package are doing great!
As you look terrific on the beach as well!
The package gets easier the more you *play* with it :)
**Rofl, here it's the houses near the beaches that go for outrageous prices. ;D
Happy Thanksgiving

Well, I see a georgous beach and a guy walking and an arm...my computer???
Sure is beautiful tho Stel. :)
>>maybe one of these days, I'll learn all this *STUFF*
**you're doin grreat! Keep playin ;)
What a great shot!!
**Golly, in Sydney houses near the beaches cost a fortune as well. My brother lives in a very ordinary house which needs total renovation but because it is near one of our northern beaches and you can just see the sea, it is worth $800,000. I would hate to live in it myself! If Danny and I were to sell this house we would get enough money to buy say a unit (apartment) in outer Sydney and another one, or a house near a beach outside of "Sydney". I am talking several hours outside of Sydney, although so many people are doing this that prices at some popular places are reaching Sydney highs.
I guess another option would be to rent this house out and use that money to pay for part of another place........who knows, we'll see. Guess I need to leave this topic alone now :)
It is just that I am tired of all of the people all of the time. The driving with ratbags and well....getting old I guess. Hilary
