Hey Judie....been "trying" to bake again, and tried your bread recipe you posted.

I do not know if I did it right tho....tell me, about what size of a loaf do you get when you make the herb/parm bread?  Mine came out about 8 inches long and it's only 2 1/2 inches high....does yours rise higher?  See, I cooked it 35 minutes and it sounded hollow, but, it seems like it may be too dense, not enough rise.  The only thing I messed up that I KNOW of is I forgot to add the parm to the dough. . . . is it correct that there is no fat IN this bread?

It SMELLS wonderful and my dh was about to go crazy...he thought I was making pizza when he came home...(g)....It tastes deelish...the crust I did with the oil and cheese and garlic and is very crunchy....I just think the inside is maybe not rising as much as it should?.....

Any ideas?

Here's what it looks like....

Thanks for this wonderful recipe....tracy

Hey Tracy, all this talk of home baked bread. When I first got the breadcooker *not as clever as you* the boys used to come home and knock off a whole loaf at a time absolutely slathered with butter!!!! I can almost smell your bread cooking from here lol!! Hilary
