exercise when poss. getting ill?

I typically avoid exercise when I know i'm physically not up to it but i'm never sure if it's better to exercise or avoid it if maybe - possibly - i'm catching a cold. My symptoms reminded me to get a flu shot today, which I know can make you feel blah. I have just gotten back into regular exercise after being sick with bronchitus almost 2 months ago and i want to keep it up.

Also - any tips on how not to gain winter pounds???

Thanks!

Hi amolibri ad welcome :)
Great to see you here hon!
Glad to hear you are feeling better now ..
When you are not feeling well .. I think it's best to not exercise when you are not 100%
Getting back into exercise slowly would be my suggestion.

I've heard, and this is advice that I usually go by, that it's all right to exercise with a "cold" as long as your symptoms are above your collarbone.

All this stuff is much more useful when it comes out of my head, I think it'd be selfish to keep it in there
Good point

Aww Judie, you always express things so well! I should have read farther on and then just said *what she said.*
