Thank you Tracy!!
It was fun to make and delicious to eat and we all love it!
I made it up into two pans and one went to a neighbor (mom with young kids).
I know they'll love it too. :) It's perfect to take to a fall gathering (football, Thanksgiving or whatever).
Thanks again!

I bet that whipped topping is Kool Whip (spelling!) We don't get that here either but I really like it. Hilary

This just became quite an expensive recipe that will last for eternity Tracy HA!! I used dh's photo paper by accident Yep, I can make that although I will have to cook pumpkin (no cans of it here). I don't think using lo fat evaporated milk will make that much difference and I will figure out pumpkin pie spice from recipes in my American recipe book. looking forward to it.

I'm not sure I understand the DH's photo paper :::blush:::
However, can't imagine a place without canned pumpkin or cool whip ..
Now that's unheard of .. poor thing
I wouldn't use low fat milk but I did cut the butter into 1/2 so one stick or 1/2 a cup instead of one cup.
Now That I can't imagine-a whole cuppa butter lol.
When you drizzle the butter, do it slow and steady-I did have some dry spots that I missed (just a few by cutting the butter but I sure felt better about eating it lol). Enjoy!! :)
Happy Thanksgiving

Golly...that is exactly what I did...no WAY would I pour a cup of butter on that and Still be able to eat it!(lol)...I melted the 1/2 cup butter and took a spoon and drizzled it slowly....you Can get most of it, and what's Not "buttered" still comes out just fine.
