Sunscreen all year round!

Have just finished plastering myself with sunscreen because hopefully the sun will eventually come out in Sydney today and I will be outside most of the time!!

I was just wondering if you use sunscreen all year round considering how cold it gets where most of you live. I am very slack when it comes to using it in winter 'cause it makes my face sting a little and I hate it getting in my eyes!!

I know this is probably wrong. I had an experience with the doctor this year which turned out to be very painful but in the end the news was good :) benign!

When I put the question to Google lol! look what came up (seems appropriate!) ......so am off for the day. I know, I said that before but hey Tracy, I don't take that long in the shower

Gosh, interesting article Hil.
I never have worn sunscreen in the winter nor even thought about it before.

I guess if I were younger, I'd sure start.
We don't get many sunny days in the winter and when I'm out, it's mainly to get from the warm car to someplace warm, lol. I'll check out the lotions.

No sunscreen for me in the winter...the sun isn't hot enough to do any damage I haven't already done to myself in my younger years....BEFORE sunscreen:)

**It wasn't that much of a big deal Mae and it was a few months ago, but it was painful and did take weeks to heal. I am lucky that I have olive skin but even so things could have been a lot worse. Thanks. Hilary

When I do wear daily sunscreen (during the summer), it's also the Oil of Olay Complete (SPF 15). I like it a lot!

**thanks Judie, looks as if Oil of Olay is the best one to buy and I am glad I can buy it here. I have been to Chicago once and only for a few days but Good Grief!!! was it COLD!! A wonderful city. Would love to see it in the summer. Hilary

**I only ever wear it during winter if I am playing golf, so we are as bad as each other Golly. Just so long as you put some on in summer. Hilary
