It's almost Earth Day!
April 22, 1970, Earth Day marks the beginning of the modern environmental movement. Approximately 20 million Americans participated, with a goal of a healthy, sustainable environment. This Wednesday will mark the 39th celebration.
With that in mind I thought we could answer some "earthy" questions.
- Have you ever planted a tree?
- Is there a community garden near you? Would you, or have you already, considered volunteering in it?
- Will you be attending any Earth Day celebrations?
- Have you tried the new "green" cleaning products? Do you want to?
- The three "r's" of the environment are Recycle / Reuse / Reduce. How do you do these things?
- Do you take advantage of any state or national parks?

I've seen some info on Washington State Parks,
and I think I would spend a lot of time exploring them
if I could get there easily.
I hadn't thought about recycling clothes.
I mean we do it often,
But it's just something we do
Not necessarily a "green" thing.
Hope you are enjoying your quiet day :)

I just ordered some cloth bags for keeping in the car.
I'll use my backpack when I walk to the grocery store,
Not nearly as often as I used to,
A habit I need to start again.
