Today's Goal: The 3-Hour Rule

You've probably heard it before, but now it's time to put it into real action. Make an eat-every-three-hours plan and stick to it. Registered dietician Ashley Koff says to think of your body as a race car: Make pit stops every three hours. Below, Koff shares her expertise on why eating every few hours is more likely to help you shed those extra pounds.



  • It's easier to eat less if you know you get to eat again soon.
  • You're more likely avoid those carb cravings, which hit us when our bodies haven't recharged in a while and need the fuel

in between.

I do this most of the time - harder on weekends because we're so busy

I don't quite understand it .... you eat every 3 hours,, are you then eliminating big meals 3 times a day? What are you eating then every 3 hours...

I think what they're trying to say Suzan,
Is to eat three meals a day & snacks in between ..
That way you won't be eating too much at your meals.
Hope that makes more sense now :)
