Wade in the Water
If you have trouble with your knees or other joints, exercising in the water may very well be your solution. Swimming is a non-weight bearing exercise so there is no pressure on your joints. You can swim, participate in a water aerobics class, or just walk back and forth in the pool. Check out your local health clubs to see if they have a pool, or scout out YMCAs or other community centers with pools, which may be more affordable.

I mentioned that idea to my neighbors. It goes in one ear and out the other. At least I tried. If I had knee problems, I would do it.

Good for you Liz! Wow that is good the pool is close by. How long do you do the pool workouts?
I usually walk/jog about 20 min then take a break and do 20 more minutes.
It doesn't feel like alot when I do it,
But I'm definately worn out when I'm done.
It works different muscles than the treadmill or walking
So I really feel it.
No soreness or stiffness in either knee or ankle
Just that good kind of "i know i worked" tired feeling

Hay Lisa!!! Glad you are better. Allergies?
