Yes I read about using the gum. My neighbor was using that earlier this month at a birthday dinner.

I drink tea or coffee - water is yucky...
walking doesn't help 'cos then I'm out of the house & I can walk down to the shops & buy junk!
chewing gum just makes me hungry...
small portions all too often lead to more small portions which add up to big portions...
