Let Go of Evening Grazing
Do you find yourself snacking in the evening? You may be doing so out of boredom, stress or plain hunger. Here are some tips to minimize the grazing:
- Eat Breakfast: Skip this crucial meal and you’re setting yourself up for bingeing later in the day, especially at night. Even if you did binge the night before, eating breakfast will help get you back on track.
- Kitchen’s Closed: Choose a time to get out of the kitchen, say after you’re done with the dishes, and stay out. Don’t allow yourself to go back in even if you want a snack while watching television. This will help you control mindless eating.

I often tell my kids that
Good tips :)
Breakfasts are important for me...actually all my meals.
Love the kitchen closed idea also Lisa!!
I am usually not tempted to do that. I go to bed with a good book to read and food
I can't find the protein shake mix I like,
and breakfast has gone out the window for me :(
My kitchen closes at 9 pm
Mostly for my sanity - especially in the summer.
I hate going to bed to a clean kitchen
and waking up to find little gremlins had made a snack
in the middle of the night and
left it for me to clean up!
