I guess it's good no one has said anything Mandy,
Question is would you listen if they did ?
One never knows :)

If someone like Ian said I needed to lose weight, then I'd take notice.

I had better not ever hear this from anyone besides my doctor!! I would be too sensitive to hearing those words from anyone else and would feel embarrassed and really down on myself. I mean, I don't have to be a genius to know I need to lose weight, I just have to turn sideways in front of a mirror!! Now if I could just stop opening my mouth every time I bend my elbow. ;-)

One of these days I'll get there..one of these days I'll lose these 30-40 lbs and keep it off forever..probably right about the time I win the lottery..LOL!!

Wow that was rude of her Mandy,
Good you best let that go in one ear out the other
OK so if Ian said something you *might* listen
Good thing is you know what you already need/want ..
That's half the battle don't you think ?
Makes it better when we can accept we need to do something already :)

I was just saying that in another post Donna,
Most of us already know if we need to lose ..
Half the problem solved right there
We'll get there in time now won't we.
Acceptance is a great step in the process :)

The fleece I was wearing is XXL 'cos I got them so both Ian & I can wear them & fit comfortably into them, so I guess they aren't terribly flattering on me but they are warm enough for our early morning weather but not too hot...

I think I would rather hear it from my Dr.

Yikes-great Poll Hugs! It's very thought inspiring. I've mulled it over a lot and I think I'd rather be told by a trusted friend. I'd like to think she'd let me know gently.

When you start shrinking Mandy, you won't be able to wear it anymore. It will be too big for you.
Understand about wearing fleece that they are warm and comfy.
