Your diet is healthier than the average American diet - but that's not saying much! You already know what's good for you. Just eat more of it. Plan your meals ahead a time. Shop when you're full. It's all about resisting temptation.

I understand. I just had to find a way to eat it so it would not be horrible. I noticed that when I dip the chip in the guacamole with the salsa, it tasted better. So instead of the guacamole I just sliced it and mixed the salsa in with no sour cream or other added stuff.
Hugs, I guess changing the way I eat and making better choices is paying off. Sure not easy...you know what they say about "old dogs and new tricks";-) Not perfect everyday but doing good....
Thanks on the Happy Birthday. Didn't do anything today,....This is the dgc weekend with their dad....so we combined Mother's Day and my Birthday last weekend..My ds did call me today to wish me a Happy Birthday and let me know my card is still setting on his computer desk.....LOL

Hi Fran, It is all about choices & definitely not easy at times, Everyday itr will get a bit better though. Overall it's a healthy lifestyle .. the changes do become habit. Remember we're all a work in progress so to speak ..

It's really easy to eat healthy at home. I've been following Dr. Oz for a couple of years now and it's the easiest way of eating ever as I get to pretty much eat what I want with minor adjustments, no counting cals or fats or anything, just have to be sensible and watch portions.
When I get in trouble is in restaurants as there's almost no healthy choices and
