Friday Fun Fives

Hiya everybuddy,
I was just wondering about this "friday" thing this morning....

1) When did you start looking forward to Friday & counting it as your favourite day of the week?  Can you even remember?

2) If you get Friday off from work or your kids have it off school, what do you tend to do on that "free" Friday?

3) Have you ever "phoned in sick" to get a Friday off?

4) Is your mood any different on a Friday than all the other days of the week?  Like is your fuse shorter or longer?

5) Do you tend to be busier or things slow down for you on a Fri?

I think these kind of things apply even if you are retired, or don't have kids.  I haven't worked (as in earned a salary for what I do) since June 2005, but Friday remains my all-time favourite day of the week & Tuesday my worst...  Takes a while for things to sink in which is why Monday is just blah rather than my worst...

Funny you said that Mandy. I wrote this too soon. I alway pick up my neighbor's son with my child after school then come home. Well today and this is the 2nd time....that their child went on a field trip and no one told me that I did not have to wait for the child to take him home. I always get frantic that I missed the child and something happened. Then I have to call them up and find out what happened. Then they tell me that they picked up their child already. Wellllllll! That made me whiny all the way home and whiny until now. I even whined to my swhusband and my child about this. One sure has to put up a lot with neighbors sometimes. They could at least let me know a day ahead, or early afternoon.

Ok...I think I feel better. I am nicely tempered up to a point.

That made me LOL Aileen,
Other people's kids are such a responsability - I'd've WHINED lots if they pulled a stunt like that on me!

I sure did whine a lot Mandy...mostly here and whining to another neighbor. I also went biking for 15 minutes to get it out somemore and my last resort was to write it on paper and throw it away. Haaaaaaah!!!

Did you get the needle for the clock work? Your husband fixes clocks?

Hiya Aileen,
Having a good friend, or something like F & H where you can whine to your heart's content & get stuff off your chest makes anyone a happier, healthier person I think.
In RL I have a friend called Tracy.

Understand what you mean Mandy. My swhusband is doing fine by me, because I know I am not perfect either.
I try to improve my wrongs and he does the same. It is just my neighbors. I told them before to let me know of change of plans when I started this, but it goes in one ear and out of the other side.

1) When did you start looking forward to Friday & counting it as your favourite day of the week? I used to all the years that I worked, but I've been retired now for 12 years.
