I enjoy that, but it depends what you put in it. Another thing that I do is eat small portions of it.
Isn't potato cold good? I think the body does not absorb the carbs from it when it is eaten cold.

Love potato salad but, definitely not hot. I agree with you, as it all depends what you put in your salad, and of course like anything else you have to watch your portions.

Hi Sweetie,

Well, it was taking a little longer than I would of liked as when we moved in a became very sick. The first week I was not able to do anything as I had a lot of chills and felt like was coming up with the flu or something. The second week I developed a slight cough and still was not feeling great. So I then called my family doctor in Montreal and went to see him, he told me that my lungs were clear, my glands were not swollen and my ears were ok as well, but....because of my cough and my other symptons that I was describing to him, he felt that I could of had a very slight pneumonia, so he sent me for an x ray which came out clear as he said that he would not call me if there wasn't anything. In the meanwhile he had sent me home with an antibiotic and thank God he did as in 3 days I began to feel a little better. I am just now being able to do some things and get around. I am still coughing a bit, but listening to my sister and a few other people , they all told me that it took them a good 3 months to get rid of that cough. Right now I am just thankful that I can get up and do my chores and go out to run some errands.

Tomorrow our best friends are coming down for the week as her husband , ny dh's buddy is going to help him put up the two decks. Ours and our daughter's. We are making 14x16 decks. This will give me a chance to be with my best friend , go browsing and out for lunch which I promised her and my daughter that I would treat them both. So I am looking forward to that.

How have you been and what have you been up to?? I am going to wish you a very good weekend and I may not be here for this week as I mentioned our friends are here until Thursday evening, so of course I can not be rude and spend my time on the computer.

Love ya and I will be thinking of you :)

Not how I make it! Potatoes are healthy for you..enjoy them! Potato salad can be made healthy by using olive oil mayonaise, I prefer Hellman's brand..Kraft makes some too, and then add your other usual ingredients. Now, of course you should eat a sensible portion, but you don't have to skimp either..enjoy it!

For macaroni salad, it can be made healthy by using 100% whole wheat pasta (no semolina added though, read your labels) and using olive oil mayonaise. Add your other usual ingredients and enjoy your sensible portions!

Bon Appetite!
