A Strange Question

This is going to sound strange...I think.  But it really is a real question.  Am I the only one whose hair has an effect on their energy level?  PLEASE let me explain.

I have found that when I let my hair grow....I start feeling less energy.  I have very thick hair and it does make me hot, long or short.  So when it is longer, I always seem to pull it up.  I'm not one to mess with my hair much.  However, when it is short....I almost instantly have more energy.  Is this real???  Is anyone else affected?

Hey that is a good thinking question!! For me longer hair does make me hot in the summer and then I feel not in the mood, so I have to force myself to get walking or something. That is why I like the cooler days. In the winter I get more energy.

I think my big bushy hair keeps me back from stuff too.
When it's long it needs so much care,
and if I don't feel it looks just right I don't want to go out in public.

With shorter hair I can get up and go any time.

I never paid attention, but I plan on cutting my hair soon, so I will keep this in mind!

I do know that having my hair up can give me a headache sometimes...

Not strange n2,
Don't know if I have noticed ..
However I know on a hot day & my hair is up ..
I do feel better than when it is down.
So maybe you're on to something

Yes..LOL..short hair makes me feel bouncy, young, more energetic and such!

Long hair makes me feel more glam feminine, while short makes me feel more cute feminine.

Now I'm at the age where I won't wear long hair anymore, but the shorter hair isn't giving me anymore energy either though..LOL!!

You all are fantastic...LOL. Thank you for all of your responses. Today I got up, pulled my hair up and started on with my day!! Still not sure if I will last the summer not cutting it. It's really not that long, just long enough to pull into a barrette or band. I have always liked the look of tossed/messy (not dirty) hair, long or short. Like some of you said, it's the irritation of the pieces that fall in your face, always in your eye when you're doing something, that makes me want to take the shears to it! Plus even as a child I have always sweated easily. So even when short, the edges still get damp from sweat. Dilemma, dilemma.

Although I haven't had long hair for the last 11 years,
