I am trying my best to get rid of what I consider to be a muffin top. I don't know what else to call it. It just sits there a little above my jeans even though my stomach is flat. Is it hips? Is it lovehandles? My body type is kinda like a ruler. :-p I've been walking every day now for almost 2 weeks...I think it's slowly helping. Any advice?

Hi Pursefuzzle.....Nice to meet you. I do lots of ab workouts. It helps me keep it under control. Try those. Others will be along to help you. Do you do any ab workouts? I hate ab crunches so I hulahoop...that is good for abs.

Walking is a very good way to do that.

That's great you're walking has already helped your *muffin top*
That should be incentive for you to keep at it.
It takes time you know
Have you thought about using a hula hoop ?
That would help too along with crunches.

Well, I think you're on the right track with walking. Are you power walking? Maybe you can bump up the pace to get your heart rate up a bit and burn more calories? Are you happy with your diet? Is there something not-so-healthy (like soda) that you could give up for a month to see if that will help remove "the muffin"? I haven't tried the hula hoop yet, but I might give it a try to change up my mid-section work out. I hopped on this board to get some ideas for my lower abs area. I am going to check out the links that I was given and try the exercises. If I find some awesome ones, I'll be sure to share with you. Would you mind doing the same? I know your area is more the love-handles area and mine is lower, but I think mid-section area exercises can help a host of problems.
