Try eating a smaller portion of what you normally eat today.
If you usually have two bowls of cereal in the morning, eat only one.
If you always have a sandwich with cheese, skip the cheese.
Fight hunger with fruit or veggie snacks between meals.
Try it for a week to see if smaller portions actually do satisfy you :)

It takes time to learn this.
At first I found I felt like I wasn't getting enough.
But now I'm doing better with it.
I realized if I'm still hungry I can always have a little more.
and - if I leave some dinner, I already have lunch for the next day :)

BTW .. if you drink a glass of water before you eat that helps too :)
